Back home, I don&#8217;t eat them often, but I do indeed like them.\u00a0A little ways into my trip, I started noticing that each country has their own peculiar twist when in comes to flavoring potato chips.<\/p>\n<p>On this trip to date, my favorite flavors have been:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ham, in Budapest (Yes, they tasted like ham. And it was good.)<\/li>\n<li>Chevre, in Paris (Of course, this almost goes without saying.)<\/li>\n<li>Paprika, also Budapest (Another obvious one).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;ll discover other interesting and obscure flavor combinations as my travels continue.\u00a0I&#8217;ll try to remember to report back if I discover any other particularly delicious local options. I look forward to Asia, source of one of my favorite\u00a0crunchy-salty-savory snacks: Wasabi Shrimp chips &#8211; more like Cheetos in structure than potato chips, really, but that&#8217;s just pedantry.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I like potato chips and other crunchy-salty-savory snacks.
