      Thanks Crystal. It’s certainly not your typical travel photo, but then visiting Cambodia and seeing the legacy of the Khmer Rouge is no walk in the park either.

      WanderMom, I can’t remember if you’re planning to visit Cambodia, but if so you should go to Phnom Penh. Choeung Ek (the Killing Fields museum, where this photo was taken) and Tuol Sleng are both overwhelmingly intense, but I found them profoundly humbling. I think it’s good to see up close the dark actions people take in the name of belief.
